Hello Everyone,

Our “Scrips Fundraising Program” is off to a great start! If you haven’t tried it yet, now is the perfect time to start raising funds for our school while you shop without having to purchase anything extra.

Yes, you’ve been hearing about Scrips, but maybe you’re still wondering what it is and how it works.  It’s EASY!!!  You determine what gift cards you want to order (that’s the hardest part!), either fill out the order form from the website or sign up for your own family account to be able to order online, pay for your order (either by check or online) and in just a few days you are able to start using your giftcards! 

So, now you may be thinking… what’s the catch? There is none!  You pay the full face value of the gift cards you want.  You get the full face value of those cards.  The school gets to keep a percentage of that value as profit.  As a bonus, the money that the school earns based on your order is tax deductible to you come tax time!

The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for our school without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program (such as WalMart, Mobil, Kohls, Subway, I-tunes, Abercrombie and MANY MORE). 

Ordering is simple...we will be placing orders on the first and third Fridays of each month. You will need to either complete the order form and return it along with payment to the school or you can establish your own family account online at www.shopwithscrip.com using our school enrollment code:  D28722AF257L3.  Once you have an online account, you can either continue to send the money to school or you can enroll in PrestoPay which allows you to pay for your order directly online from your checking or savings account.  (This also allows you to take advantage of the ScripNow option and gives you the option to reload some of the current gift cards you purchased from Scrips).  The middle of that next week your gift cards will arrive. You will receive an email indicating the order is in. Cards can then be picked up at the office during school hours or delivered to your home.

The order from on the school website lists several popular businesses however this is only a handful of the businesses who participate in the program! A complete list of businesses available (new ones are added all the time) as well as more details about the program can be found at www.glscrip.com. To add businesses not currently listed on the form, simply write the name of the business and amount of card on the blank spaces provided on the order form.
