DRIVER'S EDUCATION
A student must meet the following requirements in order to pass the class.
****Must meet state
mandated
requirements****
30 hours classroom
participation
6 hours behind the wheel
25 hours driving with a parent
or legal guardian
****Must have a minimal C
average
for classroom participation****
****Must demonstrate
appropriate
driving techniques and decision making skills****
****Must demonstrate the
maturity
level capable of handling a motor vehicle****
Classroom Rules
1. Must have homework
done on time to participate in class.
2. Each student needs at least 30 hours of class participation.
3. Late homework will
be
docked as follows:
Turned in same day = 70% dock
Turned in next day = 50 % dock
Turned in two days later = 30
%
Turned in after two days = 0%
