Concert Band
Our
concert band at Elmwood plays several times during the
year.
We start our concert season at the end of our Marching Season.
Our first concert is our Holiday Concert in December. We usually
play a march, an overture, and at least two songs of the season.
After our first concert, we start working on solos and ensembles for
contest.
We encourage any or all students to
participate in contest. We
feel
it is a valuable outlet for those students that wish to do something
extra.
Our concert band keeps working on concert pieces to play at our Spring
Concert, Brown-Bag Concert, graduation, and our final performance of
the
year, the Memorial Day Parade.
