| Hello,
my name is Stan Matheny, after graduating from Western Illinois
University I began my educational career at Pleasant Valley Grade
School, where I taught physical education and was the lunchroom
supervisor. I also coached baseball, basketball, volleyball and
track during my tenure at Pleasant Valley. In 1994, I was hired
at Limestone Community High School as a PE/Drivers Education teacher.
I was also named head boys basketball and head cross-country coach.
During my 11 years at Limestone I started an intramural basketball
league. I received my Master's degree in Education Administration
from Illinois State University. The following year I was offered
my first principalship at Lowpoint-Washburn Jr./Sr. High School
in Washburn, Illinois. In July of 2006, I had the great pleasure
of being named the Elmwood Jr./Sr. High School Principal. I have
been married to Debbie or 17 years and am the proud father of three
children. I enjoy playing golf, tennis and fishing in my leisure. |

| Mrs.
Meyers began her guidance career at Illini Bluffs Middle School
in 1999. The following year she moved to the high school where she
served as the school counselor until 2002. Mrs. Meyers then took
the guidance position at Elmwood Jr./Sr. High School the fall of
2002. She continues to work with students in grades 7-12. Mrs. Meyers
holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Knox College, a Master of Arts
Degree from Bradley University and an Administrative Certification
from Bradley University. She loves her job almost every day of the
year! |
