FROM THE DESK OF MR. MATHENY
I just would like to thank the school board, the best faculty and staff in Illinois, the greatest students, Mr. Kahn, Dr. Alvey, Dr. Wagner, and especially Mrs. Meyers, Mr. Frost, Michele, Marybeth, and Mr. Waddell for making my working experience at Elmwood the greatest place to be a part of in my education career! I have loved my experience here at this awesome school, but it has gone by so quickly! I want to thank everyone that has supported me or at least respected the decisions I have made over the last 11 years, those of you that have not, then good bye! I hope to stay in contact with many of you and I am very excited to see the physical change in the school over the next few years! Mr. McCoy has come home and will do a fantastic job in a school district that he knows so well. On that note I would like to tell Mr. McCoy congratulations on getting the best Jr./Sr. High principal job in central Illinois.
HS graduation will be held on May14th @ 1:00 pm. Doors will open at 11:30. We ask that you do not save seats with signs but have seats filled with bodies to avoid confrontation! The doors on the Morgan street side will be open near the office as will the rear coach’s office door near the track!
