The Prairieland Girls Golf match was held at WeeMaTuk Country club on September 11. Emma Endres placed 4th with a 108 and Montana Ledbetter received the 7th place medal shooting at 115. The team placed 3rd overall.
The EB Spirit Clinic will be held again this year in conjunction with Blackout. Forms have been sent home or are available here. The clinic will take place on September 26 from 3:30-5pm on the EHS track. The girls will join the EB Spirit Squad on September 28 to cheer EB Football to victory over the Rushville Rockets. The eleventh Blackout for Easter Seals is coming to L. Richard Whitney Athletic Field when the Trojans play the Rushville/Industry Rockets on September 24. To date, the Blackout in central Illinois, founded here at E/B, has raised over $375,000 for Easter Seals while "blacking out Friday nights to turn on the lights for disability awareness, understanding, and acceptance." The Elmwood Boys Golf team captured the Prairieland Conference title with a team score of 372. They defeated Brimfield, Havana, Rushville Industry and Knoxville to become the 2018 conference champs. Kyle Doubet also place 5th overall shooting an 87 and Tanner Blum received the 8th place medal with a 90. The tournament was held on September 4, at WeeMaTuk Country Club in Cuba. Great job and congrats to the Boys Golf team!
Mrs. Roberts will be taking students to London, Paris and Amsterdam in June 2020. This informational meeting is for anyone grades 8-12 and adults (community members are welcome!) who are interested in traveling in 2020. Discussed will be costs, itinerary, etc. The meeting will take place in the Lower HS Commons on Monday, September 17 at 6:30pm. See you there!
