Elmwood CUSD #322 has made a lot of changes in the past several years, and we are proud of the facilities that have been improved upon for the betterment of our students, teachers and community. We are now seeking your input on plans for the next step: Phase III. This would include a new gymnasium, locker rooms, possible new weight room, and expanded parking space.
In preliminary analysis, the cost to you, the taxpayers of Elmwood, would be about 17 cents to finance this project. That would mean that a homeowner with a house valued at $100,000 would pay an additional $55 annually on his/her property taxes ($200K = $110, etc.)
Additionally, the Board is seeking your input and thoughts on the class portraits that once lined the walls of our high school hallway. Our students and technology director have spent a great deal of time in capturing each of these portraits and preserving them electronically so that they will forever be preserved and available for all to see. They have been put onto our interactive, touch-screen kiosk in the new commons area where every student from every year can be viewed. Additionally, they are now available on-line at our website: https://www.elmwood322.com/history Some of these pictures are quite old and in pretty bad shape, so having them electronically will keep them available forever.
