Are you ready for some football? We are ready to host our first E/B Trojan’s home game tonight! Safety is always the number one priority for all school events, the administration has set rules to ensure that everyone has a wonderful gameday experience! Our goal is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.

Snow Days and the 2023-24 Calendar. Due to the FIVE (5) snow days that we took this Winter, Elmwood CUSD #322 will be changing the scheduled Emergency Days to regular attendance days. The days of regular attendance are as follows: April 26, May 3, 10, 17 & 24.Â
The last day of school will be Friday, May 24, 2024. Early dismissal (2:15 PM) for Semester Exams will take place on May 23 and May 24.

White Out Week is still ongoing. We'd like to thank all of the efforts of our staff and students for raising funds for an incredible cause, St. Jude. The Elmwood J.H. Boys' Basketball game has been moved up earlier to 4:00 PM today to accommodate for possible inclement weather conditions later this afternoon/evening. All other scheduled events will continue as planned.
The Elmwood Board of Education (Building Committee) will have a public meeting about the upcoming solar project next Wednesday, January 10th, at 6 P.M. in the auditorium. This will be an opportunity to ask questions to the Building Committee and the solar company. The zoning hearing will be held at a later date at City Hall.
Mr. Grant's Industrial Arts class visited Caterpillar recently to expand upon what they've been learning in class. The trip was a great success and we thank Caterpillar for hosting us and providing our students the opportunity. Students were thrilled to visit and had a great time!
Homecoming 2023 Day 1- Flower Power vs Beach Boys! 1960s dress up, class games, royalty announcements, and raising $ for BYE ambulance services. On to float building and cheering on our teams tonight.

Brea German & Lauren Feller attended the IHSA Solo & Ensemble contest today. Both received Division 1 ratings for all four of their combined events. Both also received perfect scores for their piano solos & Brea received a perfect score for her flute solo.

The 2023 Trojan JV Boys Basketball Shootout is will take place Saturday, Feb. 25th and Monday, Feb. 27th. This year's participating teams include Elmwood, Farmington, Henry-Senachwine, Illini Bluffs, Midland, North Fulton, Peoria Christian, & Peoria Heights.
