Congratulations to Mr. Bruce Bouchez, our JH/HS staff award recipient for December. Any staff member with a walkie-talkie knows how often his assistance is needed. He is the epitome of what a hero is to a teacher. Bruce goes above and beyond every day as he exemplifies the characteristics of #TheTrojanWay.
Whether it's lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or brightening up the room, Harold Jehle brings so much joy and positivity to our community. His morals, values, and strength of character are impeccable. His sense of service to the community of Elmwood comes second after his love for his family. Well, maybe third if you add in fishing. He doesn’t know a stranger and would help anyone who needed it. He's known for his big smile, a sense of humor, and strong work ethic! Harold has served our community as the Elmwood Kiwanis Club Treasurer for 50 years (Worked every single Pancake Day, Easter Egg Hunt, Free Movie, and is known as the Cheese Guy), City of Elmwood Treasurer for 40 years, Morrison and Mary Wiley Library Board Treasurer for 31 years, the Elmwood Educational Foundation Treasurer 30 years, and the Fall Festival Treasurer 20 years. Harold has been committed to the tradition and excellence of our community and our students for decades. Join us in congratulating Harold Jehle as our December Community Member of the Month! #TheTrojanWay
The holiday spirit in our school is strong...but even the Grinch makes an occasional appearance. Mr. Anderson was feeling Grinchy today, but let's hope he's back in the holiday spirit tomorrow for the first day of high school finals!

Today, we honor the lives lost and the bravery shown during the attack on Pearl Harbor. On this day in 1941, a tragic event changed the course of history and led the United States into World War II.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on the courage of the men and women who served, and the sacrifices made by so many. We will never forget their legacy. #PearlHarborDay #HistoryMatters #TheTrojanWay
