Congratulations to the EB girls track team for winning the ICAC track meet on Tuesday. The girls are back in action tonight at Havana and have 10 points thanks to Mya's PR in the pole vault- 13'6.5"



Kindergarten RoundUp is scheduled for Thursday, April 18th. We encourage all families who will have a student entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2024 to attend. The evening will provide an overview of Kindergarten, allow students to see their classroom, and allow families to meet the Kindergarten teachers. Snow Days and the 2023-24 Calendar. Due to the FIVE (5) snow days that we took this Winter, Elmwood CUSD #322 will be changing the scheduled Emergency Days to regular attendance days. The days of regular attendance are as follows: April 26, May 3, 10, 17 & 24.
The last day of school will be Friday, May 24, 2024. Early dismissal (2:15 PM) for Semester Exams will take place on May 23 and May 24.

White Out Week is still ongoing. We'd like to thank all of the efforts of our staff and students for raising funds for an incredible cause, St. Jude. All classes, practices, and after-school events have been cancelled for Elmwood 322 for Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

The Elmwood J.H. Boys' Basketball game has been moved up earlier to 4:00 PM today to accommodate for possible inclement weather conditions later this afternoon/evening. All other scheduled events will continue as planned.

The Elmwood Board of Education (Building Committee) will have a public meeting about the upcoming solar project next Wednesday, January 10th, at 6 P.M. in the auditorium. This will be an opportunity to ask questions to the Building Committee and the solar company. The zoning hearing will be held at a later date at City Hall.

Bright Futures of Peoria County is an IL State Board of Education funded, award winning, preschool program for families in Peoria County. Please see attached document for more information about screenings in January.


Elmwood Elementary student's collected 1,279 canned - goods for local families. Thank you to all our families for your generous donations.


Mr. Grant's Industrial Arts class visited Caterpillar recently to expand upon what they've been learning in class. The trip was a great success and we thank Caterpillar for hosting us and providing our students the opportunity. Students were thrilled to visit and had a great time!
