We wanted to thank one of our faculty members, Bruce Bouchez and student, Joey Roberts for helping out in the Industrial Arts shop! A student had a flat tire in the parking lot and we wanted to step in and help to repair the tire. If any student or teacher gets into a situation like this, we would always love to help!

Today, we did Gallery Walks, where students each took a major event from The Odyssey and broke down how it fits into Odysseus's hero's journey, as well as how the character archetypes were developed. they also looked at how big ideas are turning into themes. #TheTrojanWay

Today, we have a guest speaker, officer Paul Robertson, that is in the Navy to speak with each of the Industrial Arts classes in the shop today! This is a great opportunity for some of the upperclassmen to really think about their future and all of the benefits that come with this program. We appreciate and love opportunities like this!

Today, our 3rd and 4th graders learned about the power of words through an activity called “A Wrinkled Heart" during SEL. Each student decorated a paper heart. As we read a story, they wrinkled their hearts when someone was unkind and tried to smooth it out when someone was kind.
The lesson taught that hurtful words can leave lasting marks, even if we apologize. It reminded us to choose kindness every day because our words can lift others up or leave wrinkles on their hearts.
As Trojans, we continue to work together to fill our school with kind words and caring hearts everyday!!! #thetrojanway 🖤🧡
