Elmwood FFA competed at Section 5 Proficiency interviews with four students in nine areas. Winners that will be  competing at districts in March are: Cassidy Case first in Equine Placement & Gavin Strom in Fiber and Oil Crop Production Placement.  Other FFA members tonight were McKenzie Hess who competed in vegetable production and poultry production placing second and third. Olivia Stage is fourth in Beef Production. Cassidy Case also placed second and Equine Entrepreneurship. Gavin Strom placed second in Diversified Crop Production and Grain Production, and third in Agricultural Mechanics Repair and Maintenance. Way to go!
One of our welding 2 students working on the next project which will be welding and constructing any type of boat in the shop! This class just finished their houses they welded and now they have been assigned with a new project!

The Illinois 5 Essentials Survey will release to staff, students, and families on February 18th to complete. Elmwood #322 uses the specific results in our strategic planning decisions and progress monitor our schools growth! The 2023-24 school year survey revealed us to be a "Strong" school! #TheTrojanWay
EHS Boys Basketball lost on the road tonight at Brimfield in a low scoring game. Johns led the Trojans with 9pts.

Tomorrow night at the boys basketball game, Brimfield will be having a Believe in Bizosky night to raise awareness for colon cancer. We are encouraging fans to wear blue in awareness of colon cancer. The JV game will begin at 5:30 and the Varsity will follow.

5th/6th grade boys basketball played their fist game of the season today. Both teams played really hard and made some good progress. Both teams lost. #TrojanWay
What a great way to end White Out week to raise money for St. Jude! The varsity got a comeback win and Windish hit clutch free throws to seal the W. We had the 5th/6th grade boys 🏀 team for some halftime entertainment. Autograph night is always more exciting after a win! #TheTrojanWay

St. Jude White Out week has been a huge success! Today the Class Games featured all Championship matchups! We still need Mr. McCoy to finalized the last two dress up days on Monday, but right now the ....Sophomores are in the lead! Great job by Brayden Pumphery for winning the Pop-A-Shot shootout to win the machine! Our culminating event is our White Out BB game tonight! Come out to support our student athletes! #TheTrojanWay
