English II is learning about specific people of interest. Today we had our first 'Research Poster Gallery Walk' for their writing to inform unit.
Enriched English II 'Multi-genre Writing Projects' are in full swing! 🤩
Elmwood Varsity Girls traveled to Monmouth to play in the United Tournament. 51- 22 win over Payson-Seymour and 55-41 win over Farmington. Played all 12 players and we had 10 out of the 12 players score today. Two total team wins! #TheTrojanWay
Today 6th graders got to Escape from Ancient Egypt in Social Studies! For our culminating assessment of our learning about this group, students had to solve four puzzles about the times, people, culture, and geography of this civilization. The good news? They all escaped! They said they had fun, too!

Candy Cane Day and I needed to buy multiple Grinch outfits! Some festive outfits while they teach on Friday the 13th. Lots of learning taking place at Elmwood's JH/HS. #TheTrojanWay
The Industrial Arts class finally finished the shed they have been working so hard on! Thank you Dave Hall for coming in each class and helping our students! This was a great working experience for our underclassmen in the class.
