We are excited to announce Kim Desplinter as the recipient of the January Community Member of the Month! If you’ve ever signed up to work concessions, odds are that Kim Desplinter is there. She works tirelessly for the Boosters and is always at school either stocking concessions, selling Trojan apparel, or being a substitute. Kim has served in many roles for the community of Elmwood including; President of our athletic Boosters Club, Elementary Parents Club roles to help organize the golf outing, book fair, Santa Shop, and Teacher Appreciation Week, PEO Officer and headed up strawberry pies, Elmwood Strawberry Festival & Fall Festival volunteer, served on the library board, and volunteered for the Elmwood Boy Scouts. She also is very involved with St. Patrick's Catholic Church, teaching CCD for many years, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, a member of Alter & Rosary Society, and volunteers for many committees.
