Today marks the start of Illinois Principals Week. This is an annual celebration dedicated to honoring principals for their dedication, hard work and leadership. All of us at Elmwood #322 want to express our appreciation and gratitude to our amazing principals. Your daily efforts to collectively nurture safe and supportive “kid -friendly” environments do not go unnoticed. We further appreciate the late nights you spend away from your own families to support the children of our community. We also respect the challenging decisions you make on a daily basis. ANNOUNCEMENT: The Senior Night Football Game this Friday will have fireworks! Thank you to the parents sponsoring this event, the City of Elmwood & Elmwood Fire Department for creating a safety plan, and the E/B Football team for cleaning up debris afterward! The junior high girls improved on last year's 10th place with a 6th place finish at the State Meet! Great to see their hard work pay off. Mady placed 20th to lead the team. Colton also finished 20th in the boys race. #TheTrojanWay
