5th grade band has been working hard the last month learning how to play their instruments. Today, for the first time, they had their first FULL band rehearsal. This is a strong and hard working group of young musicians!
Congratulations to our Staff Member of the Month of October, Mr. Luke Pratt. Mr. Pratt was nominated by his peers. As one staff member stated "Mr. Pratt shines with leadership and compassion. He takes charge and is on top of ever task thrown his way. He cares about the students and does a great job as class sponsor with the seniors. He does a superb job as the band director. I am baffled by how well he juggles all of the different responsibilities, but he does them well and with merit. " Great job Mr. Pratt! #TrojanWay

Picture retakes are scheduled for October 29th. In order for students to get their picture retaken, they must return the entire proof packet to give to the photographer on retake day.
Elementary Halloween classroom parties are scheduled for Friday, October 31st. Doors will open at 9:45. The parade will begin at 10:15. Friday, October 31st is also an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30.
