Galileo performed his famous inclined plane experiment in 1603-1604 to prove that falling objects accelerate uniformly. Today we do the same. It's pretty awesome for students to realize they can come to the same conclusions that Galileo did. And those conclusions changed the world.
Today we are using the "radioactive decay" of a Twizzler to learn about half-life. Educational and tasty.

Rory has been killing on the course 🏌️. Today, he placed 8th out of 120 golfers shooting a 79 at the Boiler Invite at Baker Park. He also had a successful Thursday at Valley View in Cambridge. Rory was the match Medalist shooting 41. The boys team placed 1st in the triangular against Cambridge and Knoxville.
High school marching band has been very busy the last two weeks with 4 total performances! They've done a phenomenal job and shown growth!
The Elmwood JHXC team competed today at the Parkside XC Invitational in Normal today.
Runners battled through the heat and ran against tough competition. With over 60 teams and 2,503 runners competing, it was a great opportunity for our athletes to challenge themselves and gain racing experience.
Special congratulations to Sydney Schmieg on finishing 23rd out of 356 runners. #TheTrojanWay
