🏆🧡🖤 Congratulations to Elmwood's own Jacob Jackson on the installation of his Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) recognition sign honoring his incredible achievement as the 2025 IESA Class 2A 8th Grade High Jump State Champion with a jump of 5'11.5" or 1.82m!

Jacob's outstanding performance not only earned him a state championship but also set a new IESA Class 2A state record in the high jump last year, a remarkable accomplishment that will be remembered for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of Jacob for representing Elmwood with excellence, determination, and pride. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! *State sign accidently says 8.82m but is actually 1.82m
