Qualitative analysis allows for identification of substances based on observable properties. Today, we solve the "Old Lady McGuire" crime by studying precipitation reactions involving samples found at the crime scene. In this case, Sample J led students to identify Burger King as the likely perpetrator. The white precipitate indicates the presence of the chloride ion. The red precipitate indicates the presence of the chromate ion. The clear solution is a control.

Congratulations to our ICAC all conference track athletes. Hason Hubbard, Aiden Faulkner, Kam Stevenson, Cole Cahill, Danny Sharp, Garrett Webster, and Emery Baumann. (Not pictured: Darwin Herman and Jake Jackson)

Another successes Brown Bag It for our music and art students today at the Peoria Riverfront. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the students!
