English IV is reading Brianna Madia's memoir novel, Nowhere for Very Long: The Unexpected Road to an Unconventional Life. Students are discussing their plans after graduation with exploration of freedom and the desire for stability.

Honors English IV performed their own Shakespearean scripts today. They were required to write an epilogue to Shakespeare's play, Much Ado About Nothing, using the Bard's language and iambic-pentameter. They were very creative and did a good job.

Student You Should Know winners for March at Elmwood JH/HS: Ellie Crow and J Hampton. Their teachers recognized them for exemplifying great work ethics, showing kindness, and positively impacting their peers. #TheTrojanWay

English II is reading the novella, Of Mice and Men. They're analyzing the story's themes; relationships/friendships, loneliness and the nature of dreams.

This beautiful sunshine pairs well with our novel reading in Enriched English II today. 🌞
